Privacy

Last updated 2026-05-28.

This site is run by me, Gabriel Gircenko, as a one-person fractional engineering practice. I keep data collection minimal and lean on a handful of third-party services to run the chat, contact forms, newsletter, analytics, and calendar booking. Each of those services receives only the data needed to do its job and is listed below.

What I collect directly

Nothing beyond what you type into a form or chat. No account system, no server-side profile, no behavioural fingerprinting. If you email me, that email lives in my Gmail inbox; if you book a call, the calendar entry lives in my Google Calendar.

Third-party processors

The site embeds a small number of third-party services. Each one acts as a data processor for the data it receives. Their full privacy policies cover the details — links below.

Cookies

The site uses functional cookies set by the Crisp chat widget (so it remembers your conversation if you reload) and Google Analytics 4 (for aggregate visit counts). Crisp shows a consent banner the first time the chat is interacted with, in line with EU rules. If you decline, the chat won't track you across visits.

Your rights under the GDPR

If you're in the EU, the UK, or any jurisdiction with similar rules, you have the right to ask me what personal data I hold on you, request a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Since I don't keep a customer database, the answer is usually "whatever's in the most recent thread we have on email or chat." Email me at info@gabegiro.com and I'll handle it within a reasonable time, normally a few business days.

Changes

If I add or remove a processor, or otherwise change how data is handled, I'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above.
